Mrs. Wade has been an SDA educator for 23 years. She knows that her passion for teaching is a gift from God and makes it her daily mission to prepare young minds for the kingdom.
She is married to her best friend, Garthell Wade, III and they have three amazing children. Mrs. Wade was born in Florida and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She attended Oakwood (College) University and received a degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood. She later received her master's degree from Walden University in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading and Mathematics.
Mrs. Wade taught at Alcy SDA Jr. Academy in Memphis, TN for 14 years, Anthony Elementary School in Anthony, FL, and Living Springs Academy in High Springs, FL for 5 years. She has been at OACS for the past 4 years.
There are many new things to discover and enjoy together as a class and as a school family! Mrs. Wade knows that God has granted her this opportunity, and she is enjoying this journey.
One of her favorite verses in the Bible can be found in Romans 8:28. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Her favorites include: a good documentary on YouTube, anything blue, Olive Garden or The Cheesecake Factory, KitKat chocolate, Paint-by-Numbers craft and Hobby Lobby.
